THE SHORT STORY.
For 12 years I have lived on the road. I’ve toured with bands including Paramore, Blink 182, My Chemical Romance, Tegan and Sara, and Charlie Puth; worked Austin City Limits, Gov Ball, and Sasquatch Music Festivals. Currently I keep all of my stuff in NY, NY.
THE LONGER SHORT STORY
I grew up in the family run funeral home as the undertaker’s daughter. My father drove a 1950’s Desoto that played only era appropriate music which is both to blame and thank for my macabre aesthetic from another time. My grandparents owned and operated a photography studio and my mother was a designer. This influence perpetuated an intense want to study and capture the response, reaction, and emotion of humans and exhibit my findings in an unconventional and imaginative way.
I eventually acquired a degree in dance, was accepted to my dream musical theatre conservatory in New York, and began working as a union actor in stage, televison and film. It wasn’t until after this that a series of (likely predestined) events presented me with a fated career opportunity and I was hired to work my first tour.
